Welcome to my dog walking business! My name is Kim Rankin, and I have a deep love for animals and a strong appreciation for nature.  I am a responsible and caring multi-pet owner; I understand the importance of providing the best care for your furry friends. My love for animals has driven me to create a service that ensures your pets receive the attention and exercise they need to stay happy and healthy. Whether it's a leisurely stroll, an adventurous hike on the trail, a visit with enrichment and playtime or just a drop in visit for some food, meds, or companionship, I am dedicated to making every walk or drop in visit enjoyable for your pets. I will treat your pets as if they were my own, with the utmost care and responsibility.

I have had several beloved rescue dogs and cats that have inspired my business model.  Happy Howl Hikes is designed to give back to the pet community. A portion of every single hike or walk that is booked with us is donated to local rescues, embodying our slogan: "Dog Walks That Make a Difference”.

I am Certified in Red Cross Pet First Aid and have personal experience with pet care related to allergies, seizures, eye care, back and joint issues, post-surgical care and varying pet illnesses and injuries.  I’ve participated in multiple training classes with AKC certified trainers and every interaction with your pets will be based on positive feedback.

Adventures with my own pack include camping, beachgoing, hiking, kayaking, and plenty of car rides and trips out of the house for enrichment. Short nose breeds are some of my favorite friends!

I have completed a full background check. My business is registered with the State of PA and insured for your safety and reliability.
