Q: What area do you service?

​

A: Buffalo Township, Sarver, Freeport, Natrona Heights, Harmar, Harrison, Lower Burrell, Ford City, Cabot, Saxonburg, Leechburg, Apollo. If you are looking for services nearby-just ask if you are outside of the listed area, we may be able to accommodate.

Q: What services do you offer?

​

A: Please visit "Our Services" page for details and pricing. Contact us for a quote if you have a custom request.  All hikes and walks will be tailored to your dog’s energy level, interest, and abilities.  We always consider the weather and safety of your pets. If you have a walk or trail hike booked and the weather isn’t safe, it can be modified to an enrichment and playtime visit.

Q: What type of payment do you accept?

​

A: Cash, Check, Venmo, Zelle

​

Q: Are you insured?

​

A: Yes; We are officially filed and approved to do business in the state of PA. We are insured for the protection of our clients and business.  These important steps build trust with our clients.​

​

 

Q: Do you have a clear background check?

​

A: Yes!   we have completed full background checks on file (Act 33 PA Child Abuse History Clearance; Act 34 PA State Police criminal background check; Act 114 Federal Criminal History Record Information check with fingerprint verification (CHRI).

​

Q: Do you have evening and weekends coverage?

​

A: Yes! Evening and weekends are available to book.

​

Q: Do you charge extra for evening and weekends?

​

A: No! Many companies charge extra for these times; Happy Howl Hikes understands life gets busy and we do not charge extra for evenings or weekends.

​

Q: What if I have multiple pets, do you charge extra?

​

A:  No; We love multiple pet households! There is no upcharge for walks or for drop in visits with multiple pets. 

​

Q: What if I have other types of pets that need a visit?

​

A: Give us a call!  We have experience with many small animals such as guinea pigs, chinchillas, bunnies, lizards, turtles, birds, etc. and would love to be trusted with yours.

​

Q: Do you have first aid training for pets?

​

A: Yes; We are Red Cross Pet First Aid certified.  We carry a pet first aid kit in case of emergency and have personal experience with many pet medical conditions that may require attention.

Q: Does my pet need to be vaccinated?

​

A: Yes; The state of PA requires a current rabies vaccine and a county issued dog license.

​

Q: Are in-house consultations /meet and greets free?

​

A: Yes; The consultation will spend time reviewing our policies and your needs. This time is used to gather important information about your pet(s).  You can combine the consultation with your first booked service but please be aware of the extra time needed to complete the initial consultation.  A key will be exchanged during this visit if required.

Q: Do you have a referral program?

​

A: Yes!  Word of mouth and referrals build small businesses. If you love our services and refer a new customer who books with us, you will receive a $10 discount on your next booking. Additionally, the referred customer will receive $5 off their first booking as a thank you for helping to build the Happy Howl Hikes business.

​

Q: Do you offer incentives?

​

A: Yes; If you book and pay for 10 services (any combination) up front you will receive $5 off with prepayment.  There may also be seasonal customer incentives offered from time to time. Please visit, Like and Follow our Facebook page.

A: Our business was founded on the principle of giving back. That's why we donate a portion of every hike or walk booked to support local pets. Shelter pets make some of the best companions out there, and we love supporting those who participate in rescue.
